During my recent visit to this charming retreat, I was delighted to discover that it offered everything I cherish: a welcoming atmosphere, comfortable common spaces, and activities galore. The shared kitchen was impressively well-equipped, allowing me to prepare my own meals after a long, scenic trek. I indulged in the outdoor spa pool, soaking in stunning views of Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains as day transitioned to night. The restaurant beckoned, and its delightful menu featuring locally-sourced ingredients, such as homemade bread and fresh eggs, truly impressed. With its rustic charm, friendly staff, and comforting amenities, my stay was remarkably satisfying. I highly recommend this enchanting retreat for anyone seeking a blend of adventure and relaxation in an idyllic, remote setting.
